422Shoots recently facilitated the UK northern leg of an international shoot for Booking.com

The shoot, which was produced by Charlotte Woodhead of Stink in London, for Amsterdam based Agency Wieden and Kennedy and took place at a Booking.com listed hotel in Blackpool with 150 extras.

​The hotel is very unique and is any football fans dream as it is one of the only hotels in the world that looks over a football pitch. Shot on a Red Epic camera using specialist Arri Lenses.

The film went on to air on Television as well as published online. 

Clash of Kings a new RTS and RPG mobile application have recently shot a production in the North West, as part of their marketing push for the Mobile phone application. 

Working closely with D.C. Media Networks, 422 shoots were delighted to manage and facilitate the shoot for the German arm of International Production Company Iconoclast.

The production, which was directed by Marcus Walter, produced by Rocco Kopecny (Germany) and Bobby Bray (London) was shot in April across two days and two locations and is one of the largest productions to hit Manchester in 2016.

Manchester United Midfielder, Bastian Scweinsteiger plays the leading role in the production. Scweinsteiger emerges from his tent as king, and the level of detail on his armour is certainly an eye catcher, it is exquisite.

​Scweinsteiger leads his army out of camp towards the battle, at which point we see the sheer scale of the production. With over a 100 actors involved and the majority of those being historical re-enactors it sent the whole of Crompton Moor Quarry back into the middle ages.

422 Shoots played its part in the one day filming at Manchester Central Convention Complex. The action stared Rodriguez, Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany, Alexis Sanchex and David De Gea from Real Madrid, Manchester City, Arsenel and Manchester United.

422 shoots were extremely proud to facilitate and manage a 3 day shoot for the launch of New Balance Football for Wolfpack. The brand is set to make a big impact next season with a number of premiership stars wearing their boots and also been the official kit supplier for Liverpool, Stoke City, Seville and FC Porto.

The shoot took place at the Space Project in Manchester, using a custom set build and complex lighting rig to create a futuristic look to this launch video. It featured a number of premier league players including; Vincent Kompany, Aaron Ramsey, Fernando Reges, Marouane Fellaini, Adnan Januzaj and a player described as the most beautiful man in the world by our Production Manager – Jesus Nevas.

The Director, Marie Schuller described the inspiration to this production as a having two elements. “Firstly it’s very energetic, very abstract, unique and avant-garde. The other-side is almost the opposite. It’s very basic, all about the characteristics and an insight into these players personalities.”

Working alongside Producer Nicki Casey and Director Chris Gaffey, 422 Shoots and 422.tv have helped bring to life a 30 sec TV advert for Manchester’s real snow indoor ski centre.

The advert, written, conceived and directed by Chris Gaffey, was shot on location at Chillfactorᵉ at Trafford Quays Leisure Village, and shows the breadth of activities available for a family fun day out.

422 Shoots Service Producer, Eileen Gartside, organised crewing and equipment for the Live Action film shoot. 

The advert, which airs in prime slots in the Granada region, went live on the 2nd February.

The advert’s Producer, Nicki Casey, commented on the ease of working with one team from 422 to assist with a smooth execution from shoot planning to final on-air delivery to ITV.

‘I’ve worked with the crew at 422 for many years now, and both I, and Chris, the Director, trust their professional, organisational and creative abilities and input’.

In July we were asked by Generator Films to support a studio based project for eHarmony UK.  Over 2 days in Manchester's we all made a few new friends, some more conventional than others! 

"What’s 7ft tall, covered in hair and terrible at small talk? Meet the star of eHarmony’s new TV advert, our very own dating dromedary!" All the way from Warwickshire with their handlers Joeseph and Rebecca the camels needed some extra special furniture to get comfortable.
