In July we were asked by Generator Films to support a studio based project for eHarmony UK.  Over 2 days in Manchester's we all made a few new friends, some more conventional than others!

"What’s 7ft tall, covered in hair and terrible at small talk? Meet the star of eHarmony’s new TV advert, our very own dating dromedary!" All the way from Warwickshire with their handlers Joeseph and Rebecca the camels needed some extra special furniture to get comfortable.

The finished commercials have been on air in the UK since August and were the first production to use The Space Project Stage 1 as a shooting location. The 30 strong crew recreated the household set and captured the action using equipment sourced locally from Panavision & Panalux & others.

A Quote taken from eHarmony's website says: "We hope you like the ad, we’re very proud of it;" Look out for another version coming soon!

From an article in MVOD.TV Thomas Bryant talks about his new music video for Kidwise

Q?: Could you tell us more about the video ? How and where was it shot ?
"The film was shot around Manchester at the end of September. We had a small but incredible crew that really stuck with it through the early starts and late finishes. Lighting and atmosphere are very important to me so I’m always trying to shoot in that quiet time before sunrise and after sunset."

Filming at locations in Runcorn and Huddersfield, Director Thomas Bryant and DOP Victor Seguin captured the action using ALEXA as events unfolded during the two day shoot in mid September.

Q?: What were the most challenging aspects of the production ?
"I think that depends who you ask! Of course for me casting and locations. We were casting and location scouting right up to shoot day. Some things went very much in our favour (we found CJ the day before the shoot). So there were plenty of good surprises. It was the first opportunity I had to work with DOP Victor Seguin who was phenomenal and really involved from an artistic point of view. Marine at RODS was incredible, she really believed in the film and put so much energy and enthusiasm into the project. I think without her it would not have made it off the ground. Eileen and Ben at 422shoots in Manchester were excellent pulling all the pieces together and making it a reality."
